  1. How is the mk808 for bi directional. Communication? Can I seal evap systems on import vehicles? I work for a gm dealer, but I personally service all imports that come in.

  2. Robert A Segool JR

are there any accessories that can be added to the Autel MaxiCOM MK808 to make it better, and is there a adapter for OBD1

  3. I’m looking for a scanner that will cycle a fuel pump on a 2010 Jetta diesel after changing the fuel filter which one of these can do that

  4. So by reading some of the replies your saying that these don’t work with diesels even though one of the main features is forced DPF regeneration. So does it work or not?

  5. Hi, I am looking for a tool that can cycle and test the various functions within the EBMC. Will the MK808 do this or should I be looking at the DS808? I am trying to avoid replacing the EBCM if in fact it is not the source of the problem.

  6. I want advice on which tool to buy. Am a mechanic working on all modes of cars and I do key programming, general diagnostic, active test of actuators,

  7. Good morning Tim. I just found you and thank you for taking the time for these questions and Reviews.
Looking for scanner to relearn throttle at minimum.
I work on cars at home and have different makes come through mostly common vehicles as im in a blue collar area so no exotic cars.

    1. Sure, Keith. Autel MK808 is built to work on gasoline and diesel cars and light trucks like F-250.

But if you are a fan of Ford, I recommend Forscan adapters like OHP ELMconfig or OBDLink MX+. They are much cheaper than MK808. Check out here https://www.obdadvisor.com/best-forscan-adapter-review/

In case you still want to take MK808, I would say this is also a wise choice because the Autel mk808 is incredibly reliable and accurate.
