OVERVIEWWhat Does The Volkswagen P1847 Code Mean?
The ECU detected a memory fault of the brake system. The Engine Control Module (ECM) communicates with all databus-capable control modules via a CAN databus. These databus-capable control modules are connected via two data bus wires which are twisted together.
How Can You Fix The Volkswagen P1847 Code?
- Fuses on E-box in engine compartment, left side, may be faulty
- Check harness connector for contact corrosion or water damage
- Check resistance of solenoid valves may not be up to specification
- Solenoid valve may be faulty
- Wires to Transmission
