What Does The Nissan P1137 Code Mean?

Engine started, engine running at idle speed, and the PCM detected an unexpected “high” or “low” signal on the SCV Control Position sensor circuit during the CCM test.

Note: The SWL/C POSI SE PID on the Scan Tool should read close to 0 deg.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Nissan P1137 Code?

  • Swirl Control valve control position sensor open or shorted
  • Swirl Control valve control position sensor is damaged
  • Swirl Control valve control position sensor has failed
  • PCM has failed
