What Does The Kia P1795 Code Mean?

Vehicle driven to a speed over 25 mph, TR switch indicating Drive, TP angle over 2%, and the PCM detected the VSS ratio indicated over 1.5 with the 4×4 switch “off”, or less than 1.5 with switch “on”.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Kia P1795 Code?

  • 4×4 low switch circuit is open
  • 4×4 low switch circuit is shorted to ground
