Honda P16D5: F-CAN Malfunction (Internal Malfunction)
OVERVIEWWhat Does The Honda P16D5 Code Mean?
With the ignition switch ON, for 3 seconds and battery voltage at a minimum of 10.0 V, one of the following malfunction conditions exist
- Condition 1: The PCM does not receive any signals via the F-CAN lines for at least 1 second.
- Condition 2: The information sent from the CVT CPU is abnomal at least 20 times.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Honda P16D5 Code?
- PCM may need to be updated with the latest software
- Faulty PCM
