What Does The Honda P1297 Code Mean?

The ELD output voltage is 0.27 V or less for at least 5 seconds. The execution time is continuous and DTC P1298 is not active. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Honda P1297 Code?

  • Poor connections or loose terminals at the ELD and the PCM
  • “Short” circuit between the PCM and the ELD
  • Faulty left side engine compartment wire harness
  • Faulty ELD
  • PCM may need to be updated with the latest software
  • Faulty PCM
