What Does The Ford P1455 Code Mean?

ECT sensor less than 90F at startup (cold engine), engine running at a steady cruise speed for 2-3 minutes, and the PCM detected a gross leak in the EVAP system during the test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Ford P1455 Code?

  • Fuel filler cap missing, loose (not tightened) or the wrong part
  • FTP sensor signal circuit open or sensor ground circuit open
  • FTP sensor ground circuit open
  • FTP sensor is damaged or has failed
