What Does The Ford P1445 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the Purge Flow (PF) sensor was more than the maximum calibrated limit of 4.80v.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Ford P1445 Code?

  • PF sensor signal circuit shorted to VREF or power (VPWR)
  • PF sensor signal circuit open or sensor ground circuit open
  • PF sensor is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
