What Does The Ford P1385 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the Variable Cam Timing signal circuit. Note that this code is due to an electrical fault (not a mechanical fault).

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Ford P1385 Code?

  • VCT solenoid circuit is open or shorted
