What Does The Ford P1248 Code Mean?

Engine started, and the PCM detected a signal from the Injection Pressure sensor indicating a lack of Boost Pressure was present.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Ford P1248 Code?

  • Wastegate Control hose going to the actuator is leaking, loose or damaged
  • Wastegate solenoid is damaged, sticking or it has failed
  • PCM has failed
