What Does The Ford P123E Code Mean?

This DTC sets when the DTC U029D is set. The exhaust fluid system fault message may be enabled in the instrument cluster message center for this DTC.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Ford P123E Code?

This DTC is an informational DTC and may be accompanied by other DTCs. Diagnose all other DTCs first. The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power.

After repair, the vehicle may still display a system warning message. Drive the vehicle, while carrying out the appropriate drive cycle procedure, until the system warning message has cleared from the instrument cluster message center.
