What Does The Ford P123C Code Mean?

This DTC will set when the vehicle is started in temperatures below -26°C (-14.8°F). The vehicle will operate at reduced power to prevent damaging the turbocharger due to lack of lubrication. The vehicle will not operate at full power until the engine has had 30 seconds to warm up.

A count down timer is indicated on the instrument cluster to notify the driver when the engine is warmed up and operating at full power. The DTC will clear from the PCM when 40 ignition cycles have been completed.
