What Does The Ford P1232 Code Mean?

Engine started, Low Speed Fuel Pump (LFP) relay energized, the PCM detected excessive current on the LFP circuit; or with LFP commanded off it detected power on the LFP circuit.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Ford P1232 Code?

  • Low fuel pump (LFP) circuit open or shorted
  • Low speed fuel pump relay VPWR circuit open
  • Low speed fuel pump relay is damaged
  • PCM has failed
