What Does The Chrysler P1598 Code Mean?

Engine started, engine running, A/C Relay is “on”, and the PCM detected the A/C Pressure Sensor indicated more than 4.90v.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chrysler P1598 Code?

  • A/C pressure Sensor circuit is open or shorted to VREF (5v)
  • A/C pressure Sensor ground circuit is open
  • A/C pressure Sensor is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
