What Does The Chrysler P1493 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the BTS signal indicated less than 0.30v for 3 seconds during the CCM test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chrysler P1493 Code?

  • BTS circuit is shorted to ground between Sensor and the PCM
  • BTS (Sensor) is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
