What Does The Chrysler P1490 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; system voltage over 10.5v, and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the Low Speed Radiator Fan Relay control circuit during the CCM test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chrysler P1490 Code?

  • LFAN radiator relay control circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • LFAN radiator relay power circuit is open (test power to IGN)
  • LFAN radiator fan relay is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
