What Does The Chrysler P1478 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the Battery Temperature Sensor was under 0.1v or over 4.90v for 3.2 seconds.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chrysler P1478 Code?

  • Battery temperature Sensor is damaged or it has failed.
  • Clear the codes and retest for this trouble code. If the same code resets, the PCM will have to be replaced, as the Battery Temperature Sensor is located inside the controller.
