What Does The Chrysler P1299 Code Mean?

Engine running at idle speed in closed loop, and the PCM detected the MAP Sensor signal did not correlate to the TP Sensor signal under these operating conditions during the test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chrysler P1299 Code?

  • Leaking engine vacuum hose, brake booster, or in the engine
  • MAP Sensor is out-of-calibration or skewed
  • TP Sensor is damaged or has failed (perform a sweep test)
