What Does The Chevrolet P1520 Code Mean?

Engine started; and the PCM detected an unexpected high voltage condition on the PNP Switch circuit for three consecutive startups, or with Transaxle in 3rd or 4th gear, TCC in lockup, it detected a low voltage signal for 1 second.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chevrolet P1520 Code?

  • PNP switch signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • PNP switch ground circuit is open
  • PNP switch is out-of-adjustment, loose or damaged
  • PCM has failed
