OVERVIEWWhat Does The Chevrolet P1414 Code Mean?
This code is set when the ECM detects that the EGR cooler bypass valve control circuit current is greater than a calibrated threshold for greater than 2 s.
Conditions for setting the DTC:
- The Ignition is ON.
- The battery voltage is greater than 11 V.
- The EGR cooler bypass valve control circuit is active.
- The starter is not cranking.
- The DTCs run continuously when the above conditions are met.
