OVERVIEWWhat Does The Chevrolet P140E Code Mean?
This code is set when ECM detects that the EGR Valve Low (Close) control circuit voltage is greater than a calibrated threshold for greater than 3 s.
Conditions for setting the DTC:
- The Ignition is ON.
- The battery voltage is greater than 11 V.
- The EGR control circuit is active.
- The starter is not cranking.
- The DTCs run continuously when the above conditions are met.
