What Does The Chevrolet P1400 Code Mean?

Engine is in Exhaust Warm-up mode. DTC runs continuously when the above condition exists.

Post Injection has been prohibited for 100 continuous engine revolutions for any one of the following reasons:

  • Post injection events do not increase the diesel oxidation catalyst temperature to a calibrated level within a given time.
  • A post injection event overlaps the pre-injection event of the next cylinder in the firing order.
  • The ECM detects a post injection energizing error.
