Engine started, system voltage over 10.0v, and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage value on an injector driver circuit for 500 ms.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chevrolet P1222 Code?

  • Fuel injector control circuit is open (an intermittent fault)
  • Fuel injector control circuit shorted to ground (intermittent fault)
  • Fuel injector power circuit is open (test the INJ 1, INJ 2 fuses)
  • Fuel injector is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
