What Does The Cadillac P1546 Code Mean?

Engine started, A/C Clutch requested “on”, and the PCM detected an unexpected low voltage condition on the A/C Clutch status circuit for over 5 seconds during the CCM test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1546 Code?

Below are some potential causes of this DTC:

  • A/C clutch status line is open or shorted to ground
  • A/C clutch relay is damaged or has failed (contains not closing)
  • A/C clutch relay power circuit is open (test AC CRUISE fuse)
  • PCM has failed
