What Does The Cadillac P1115 Code Mean?

IAT sensor more than 19ºF, engine runtime over 60 seconds, and the PCM detected an intermittent high voltage condition on the ECT sensor signal circuit (Scan Tool reads below -36ºF) for 10 seconds,

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1115 Code?

  • ECT sensor signal circuit is open between the sensor and PCM
  • ECT sensor ground circuit is open between sensor and PCM
  • ECT sensor has failed (possible intermittent “open” condition)
  • PCM has failed
