What Does The Cadillac P1114 Code Mean?

DTC P0112, P0113, P1111 and P1112 not set, engine started, IAT sensor less than 158ºF, engine runtime over 10 seconds, and the PCM detected an intermittent low voltage condition on the ECT sensor signal circuit (Scan Tool reads over 300ºF) for 10 seconds.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1114 Code?

  • ECT sensor signal circuit shorted to ground (intermittent fault)
  • ECT sensor has failed (possible intermittent shorted condition)
  • PCM has failed
