What Does The BMW U1121 Code Mean?

Key on for 800ms, and the DME detected that it has lost communication with the power management battery voltage during its initial startup for 40ms (2 message cycles). The Engine Control Module (DME) communicates with all databus-capable control modules.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The BMW U1121 Code?

  • DME has failed
  • Terminal resistance for CAN-bus are faulty
