What Does The BMW P1529 Code Mean?

Engine started and driven at an engine speed of more than 400rpm; and the DME detected the camshaft timing exceeded the calibrated voltage levels. The valve timing did not change from the current valve timing or it remained fixed during the testing.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The BMW P1529 Code?

  • Fuel pump has failed
  • CPS circuit is open, shorted to ground or shorted to power
