OVERVIEWWhat Does The BMW P1134 Code Mean?
Engine running, battery voltage 11.5, all electrical components off, ground between engine and chassis well connected and the exhaust system must be properly sealed between catalytic converter and the cylinder head. The DME detected an open or shorted condition in the wirings.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The BMW P1134 Code?
Below are some potential causes of this DTC:
- HO2S heater power circuit is open
- HO2S heater ground circuit is open
- HO2S signal tracking (due to oil or moisture in the connector)
- HO2S is damaged or has failed
