What Does The BMW P1100 Code Mean?

Engine running, with the system voltage more than 11.0v, and the temperature must be at least 185-degrees (F) and all electrical equipment (A/C, lights, etc) must be off. The DME has detected that the MAF signal was out of a calculated range.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The BMW P1100 Code?

  • Mass air flow (MAF) sensor has failed or is damaged
  • Signal and ground wires of Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor has short circuited
