What Does The Acura P1795 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the APP sensor signal circuit to the TCM.

Note: The D4 lamp on the dash will flash 20 times if this code is set.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1795 Code?

  • APP signal circuit to the TCM is open
  • APP signal circuit to the TCM is shorted to ground
  • APP signal circuit to the TCM is shorted to VREF
  • APP sensor connector is disconnected or damaged
  • TCM or PCM has failed
