What Does The Acura P1706 Code Mean?

This code indicates the condition that key on or engine running; and the PCM detected an unexpected “high” voltage condition on the Gear Position Switch circuit.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1706 Code?

  • A/T gear position switch signal circuit is open
  • A/T gear position switch ground circuit is open
