What Does The Acura P1459 Code Mean?

Engine running at cruise speed and than back to idle speed, ECT sensor signal more than 154ºF, and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on Purge Flow switch circuit.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1459 Code?

  • Purge flow switch is open, shorted to ground or to power (B+)
  • Purge flow switch vacuum line is loose, bent or damaged
  • Purge flow switch is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
