OVERVIEWWhat Does The Acura P1382 Code Mean?
This code indicates the condition that engine is cranking or running; and the PCM did not detect any signals from the Camshaft Position 1 (CMP) sensor during the CCM test.
Note: The engine will start and run without the CMP sensor signal.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1382 Code?
Below are some potential causes of this DTC:
- CMP1 signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
- CMP1 pickup unit or the CMP sensor is damaged or has failed
- PCM has failed
