What Does The Acura P1361 Code Mean?

Engine started, and the PCM detected an unexpected (intermittent) interruption of the Top Dead Center (TDC) sensor signal in the test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1361 Code?

  • TDC signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • TDC signal circuit is shorted to VREF or system power
  • TDC pickup assembly or its pulse rotor is damaged
  • TDC is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
