What Does The Acura P1111 Code Mean?

Engine started, engine runtime over 4 minutes, ECT sensor more than 140ºF, vehicle speed under 20 mph, MAF sensor less than 20 g/sec, and the PCM detected an unexpected high voltage signal of over 4.90v [Scan Tool reads -38ºF] on the IAT sensor circuit.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1111 Code?

  • IAT sensor signal circuit is open (an intermittent fault)
  • IAT sensor is damaged or has failed (an intermittent fault)
