This code indicates poor communication between AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the Gauge Control Module.
NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B2205 Code?
Below are some potential causes of this DTC:
- Check the vehicle battery condition
- Poor connections or loose terminals at the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver)
- “Open” circuit between AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the Gauge Control Module
- AcuraLink control unit needs to be updated
- Faulty AcuraLink control unit
