OVERVIEWWhat Does The Acura B1808 Code Mean?
Poor communication between the Power Seat Control Unit and the Gauge Control Module.
NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
If DTCs B1011, B1060, B1061, B1205, B1357, B1359, B1408, B1805, B1806, B1906, and B2160 are also indicated, perform the gauge control module input test.
If no addition codes are present, replace the Power Seat Control Unit.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B1808 Code?
- Loose or poor connections between the Power Seat Control Unit and the Gauge Control Module
- Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
- Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box
- “Open or “Short” Condition between the Power Seat Control Unit and the Gauge Control Module
- Faulty Power Seat Control Unit
- Faulty Gauge Control Module
