OVERVIEWWhat Does The Acura B1355 Code Mean?
Poor communication between the Power Tailgate Control Unit and the MICU. Inoperable or intermittent Power Tailgate. If DTCs B1055, B1157, B1160, B1255, B1955, B2155, and/or B1806 are also indicated, perform the MICU input test. If no additional codes are present, perform the power tailgate control unit input test.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B1355 Code?
- Loose or poor connections between the Power Tailgate Control Unit and the MICU
- Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
- Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box
- “Open” or “Short” between the Power Tailgate Control Unit and the MICU
- Faulty Power Tailgate Control Unit
- Faulty MICU
