What Does The Acura B1255 Code Mean?

Poor communication between the Combination Switch Control Unit and the MICU.

If DTCs B1055, B1157, B1806, B1955, and B2155 are indicated, perform the MICU input test.

If DTCs B1055B1057, B1806, B1955, and B2155 are indicated, perform the MICU input test.

If no other codes are present perform the Combination Switch Control Unit input test

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B1255 Code?

  • Loose or poor connections between the Combination Switch Control Unit and the MICU
  • Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
  • Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box
  • “Open” or “Short” to ground at the Combination Control Unit
  • “Open” or “Short” to ground at the MICU
  • Faulty MICU
  • Faulty Combination Control Unit
