What Does The Acura B1228 Code Mean?

This code indicates poor communication between the Outside Air Temperature Sensor and the Climate Control Unit – (“Short”) condition.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B1228 Code?

  • Perform the HVAC self-diagnostic function with the HDS
  • “Short” in the wires between the Climate Control Unit and the outside air temperature sensor
