What Does The Acura B1208 Code Mean?

Poor communication the climate control unit and keyless access control unit.

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN system diagnosis test mode A.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B1208 Code?

  • Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
  • Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box
  • Perform the climate control self-diagnostic with the HDS or the climate control unit
  • Perform the gauge control module input test
  • Loose wires or poor connections on the B-CAN lines between the gauge control module circuit
  • Faulty climate control unit
  • Faulty gauge control module
  • Faulty keyless access control unit
