What Does The Cadillac P1832 Code Mean?

Engine started, system voltage from 8-18v, and the TCM detected a voltage over 4.2v on the HSD1 circuit prior to commanding the HSD1 on.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1832 Code?

  • Pressure control solenoid control circuit is shorted to power
  • Pressure control solenoid is damaged or it has failed
  • Transmission internal harness assembly may be shorted
  • TCM has failed
