Engine speed over 600 rpm, and the PCM detected the Actual and Commanded state of the Oil Level Lamp driver control circuit did not match for 5 seconds during the CCM test.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1653 Code?
Below are some potential causes of this DTC:
- Oil level lamp control circuit is open, shorted to ground or to B+
- Oil level lamp power circuit is open (test the IP INDC fuse)
- Oil level lamp (bulb) is open or missing
- PCM has failed
