What Does The Cadillac P1601 Code Mean?

Engine started; and the PCM detected an internal PCM temperature of more than 221ºF, or an internal PCM temperature less than -58ºF or over 284ºF.

How Can You Fix The Cadillac P1601 Code?

  • Verify that the relay center cover is properly installed
  • Check for a damaged relay center
  • Check for air blockage/obstructions preventing proper airflow
