What Does The Cadillac P1570 Code Mean?

Engine started; Cruise Control requested and engaged, and the PCM detected that the Traction Control System was enabled. The C/C module uses the Cruise Engage circuit to request Cruise Control. If improper conditions exist, the PCM will disable Cruise Control Module.

How Can You Fix The Cadillac P1570 Code?

  • Verify that there are no ABS/TCS trouble codes in memory
  • This trouble code is usually caused by conditions that cause traction control to activate during cruise control. Check with the customer to verify the conditions present when the code set.
