What Does The Cadillac P1527 Code Mean?

Engine started, engine runtime over 5 seconds, DTC P1810 test has run and passed, system voltage over 10.0v, Transmission Range (TR) switch does not indicate an illegal position, TFP Manual Valve Position switch does not indicate an illegal position.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1527 Code?

  • TR switch signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • TR switch ground circuit is open
  • One or more transmission pressure switches have failed
  • PCM has failed
