In-depth review of Autel Diaglink

Autel Diaglink can perform several features that include:
Read and clear codes
Autel Diaglink is effective in reading and clearing codes.
What I like:
I bought the Autel Diaglink, and it has practically saved my time and my money.
Recently, my Check Engine lights popped up after my car was slightly hit at the parking by another reversing vehicle.
Naturally, I would have taken my car to the mechanic to turn off the Check Engine Lights.
As soon as I plugged in and loaded the software compatible with my model, I was able to read the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) easily.
Even more interesting is the fact that I was able to stream both live and freeze data. Adjacent to all the DTCs were their definitions.
I admit that I am not a pro when it comes to vehicles, but I was able to read and understood what the codes meant.
After taking the reading with Autel Diaglink, I was able to clear the Airbag trouble code with a single push of a button.
I am so grateful that Autel Diaglink saved my money and time since I didn’t need to visit the mechanic shop.
What I didn’t like:
One of my friends hoped to read codes with DTCs definitions in Portuguese, just like one of his previous code readers.
However, this code reader supports only three languages limiting his ability to read and clear codes. The software should be updated to include more languages.
Oil service reset
Autel Diaglink can efficiently turn off the Engine Oil Service Light.
What I like:
A couple of days ago, as I turned the ignition key to my car ready to go to work, the threaded Engine Oil Service Light came on.
Honestly, I had no time to take my vehicle to the mechanic for an oil change at that particular moment.
Fortunately, Autel Diaglink helped me to read and reset the engine oil service lights so easily. Later that day, I decided to replace the oil all by myself.
The amazing thing is that from then, I have never seen the Engine Oil Service Light pop up again.
To make things even better, I can recalculate my car’s driving mileage with the scanner so that the vehicle onboard computer can accurately calculate when I need to replace the oil. I love every bit of the gadget.
What I didn’t like:
A colleague recently told me that he couldn’t pinpoint the problem with accuracy when the engine oil service lights popped up.
After diagnosing with Autel Diaglink, he still had to guess whether the problem was coming due to low oil level or oil with impurities.
He felt that the DTC code for this function should be more precise.
Helps in resetting electronic parking brakes
Autel Diaglink is an excellent scanner capable of Resetting the Electronic parking brakes of your vehicle.
What I like:
My recent experience with Autel Diaglink confirmed the superiority of this code reader. As I was driving home, I got the ABS error.
The code reader was able to read the antilock braking system error. Additionally, the code reader narrowed the ABS error to a defective wheel speed sensor.

It even went further to display some other trouble codes in the ABS that I had not anticipated.
After replacing the wheel speed sensor, I cleared the ABS error with the Autel Diaglink. I rather like the accuracy of this fantastic scanner.
What I didn’t like:
It read the ABS error, but I felt that its definition should be clearer for better understanding.
Compatibility
Autel Diaglink is an OBD 2 code reader that is compatible with many vehicle models. It comes with single-vehicle software for free.
It means that you can only scan one single model with Autel Diaglink on a purchase.
However, you can download software that is compatible with your model at a fee online.
It implies that you can practically scan most of the vehicle models with Autel Diaglink by just downloading the appropriate software.
This code reader is also compatible with windows. You can plug it into your PC and download the appropriate software compatible with your vehicle model.
Pros

Who is it for?
I am glad to say that Autel Diaglink is built for Do-It-Yourself vehicle enthusiasts, home mechanics, as well as small workshops. It is exactly the code reader that I was looking for.
