How do we make money and how can you support us?

We’re committed to keeping our review pages clutter-free, free from ads, and our focus is not solely on promoting scanners for financial gain.

Here’s how we sustain our operations: when you make a purchase through the links we recommend (such as this one), we earn a commission. Importantly, this doesn’t impact the price you pay. Equally crucial, it has no bearing on our guidance or recommendations.

Our goal is consistently centered on helping you discover the most suitable product that meets your specific requirements!

Where do the products that we review come from?

You might be wondering where we get the products we review. Well, here’s how:

  • We mainly buy them from trusted places like Amazon.com, and official stores like ancel.com or mycarly.com.
  • We also get some directly from the manufacturers like Ancel, Innova, and XTOOL. But don’t worry, it doesn’t affect our ratings. We review, not promote.

What do we do with products after we’re done testing them?

After we’re done testing, here’s what we do:

  • Products that are discontinued or not very popular will be sent to students in Franklin County Schools, North Carolina. This helps them practice and get better at car repair.
  • We keep other products. Sometimes, we might need to retest them if there are changes in the firmware or updates to the test bench.
